Writing a book

I've always looked at the way we use the social media and come to that spot where you really want to ask "are we really using the internet as we really should?"

Take the example of wall posts on Internet social platforms and the array of information that exchange hand (so to speak) within minutes of the first post or comment and imagine if those efforts are really channeled towards creating something more productive like writing a book for instance.

Take an instance of a group of old school or college mates sharing pictures and stories from their college days and so on.
Think of what they may be able to accomplish were they to set out to create a memoir with the intent of (say for instance) capturing the nostalgic essence of their lives then, giving everyone the opportunity to say it as they saw it; telling the story from a participant's perspective and how, through placing such details on records may incite current students of that college to aspire to maintain the tradition and legacy or even reach for greater heights.
